The first thing you notice about Scott Isbell is his bubbling personality and unwavering enthusiasm for music. Scott has taken this and is working hard to channel his energy into writing and performing some good solid songs.

Scott has a daily schedule that just hearing about will wear you out.  When asked to describe a 'Day in the life of Scott Isbell, Scott replies "I go to a prep school as a day student and after school I have hockey practice.  I play for both a junior hockey team in the IJHL as well as for my varsity team at school. On the weekends is when I do a lot of my music.  I go to the studios on the weekends with my manager Walter Pope who is a rapper and he has performed with artists such as Ne-Yo, Akon, Sean Paul, and many others.  I also write my own songs during the weekends or at night during the week after I get my homework done."

This is amazing for any teenager, but when you throw in Scott is also handling his on line presence on Twitter, My space, You Tube and Reverbnation, and the fact Scotty has ADD, you cannot help but marvel at his ability to manage such a full plate. I asked Scott  "To many, ADD is a subject they don't talk about, yet you freely state you have it.  Do you feel you can help other ADD sufferers by talking about it?"  Scott explained, "When I was about eight years old, I was diagnosed with ADD.  Along with that, I have a little bit of obsessive compulsive problems, but I have never let either of them stop me from accomplishing my goals and dreams. "
"I want to let other people with ADD know that it is a learning disability that can be dealt with and one that does not have to interfere with ones goals and dreams.  I hope to be able to do a show that benefits ADD and plan on writing a song about the learning disability."

ADD (or ADHD) sufferers are some of the most creative people you will ever encounter.  When given the support and ability to channel this creativity, such as Scott's family has done, the gift of this ability comes to full bloom, which in Scott's case, it has surfaced in some of the freshest Pop music with a spicy R&B flavor that makes his style appealing to not just the teen crowd, but to the older audience as well.

Scott's style is heavily influenced by both old and new artists.  He loves Elvis and Michael Jackson style, "people kid me that I was born in the wrong era" he jokes, and he is also a big fan of Brian McKnight, The Naked Brothers Band and Justin Bieber.  "I have met some amazing people through my music and acting career.  Just last summer I met Nat and Alex Wolff of the Naked Brothers Band after their show and I talked with them about both of our careers.  They are awesome kids. "
"I really would like to meet
Justin Bieber and get to know him." Scott continues. " He is a huge idol of mine, and I think that he is a great role model for other young musicians to follow.  My dream is to open up for him sometime in the future for a show.  That would be amazing.  Justin seems like an awesome kid who is really down to earth. And Brian McKnight is another role model of mine and I hope to be able to work with him also in the future."

Under the guidance of his manager, Walter Pope, aka 'Mr. Flip-it', who calls Scott his "Best Kept Secret" and the loving support from his family and friends, look to hear more from Scott Isbell.

Scott is currently working on his debut CD.  Once completed, he will be performing live around the Boston area promoting his music.
