Hi Every one. My teacher said my essay was good so I wanted to share it with you all. We had to wriete bio's of the people who came into my class to talk to us so yah here's my essay. :)

Scott Ricciutti

 

            Scott Ricciutti  is from Marlboro Massachusetts. He played the saxophone. Then after the Saxophone he moved onto playing the guitar. He has made a living as a singer and songwriter. He wrote his first song at sixteen years old. He makes average money. 

            Before writing a song Scott thinks of what the melody will sound like then he keeps the melody in mind while writing a song. He mainly writes songs from random inspiration. For example he found a piece of paper with Amber Nicole wright written on it over and over. So he made a song about it. The song was about wondering what She looked like. It was also about wondering what her life was like.  He mainly writes country, but he also writes rock and roll.

            Scott performs his own songs but sometimes he will play cover songs for his audience. He plays electric guitar and he also plays acoustic guitar. He plays acoustic guitar while performing solo. He has played in bands called Huck and Pistol Whipped. He says that sometimes if he has a lot of inspiration, he can write a song in ten minutes. He also says that even when he has a lot of inspiration it sometimes takes a lot more than ten minutes to write a song. He says that being in a band involves trust and coming to agreements. He says that scheduling gigs is the hardest part. He also says that being in a band means putting a lot of commitment into it and if you have to work or something to write down a melody because a melody is hard to remember while working and talking to people all day.
